Storyteller Co is a wife-and-wife team of queer, LGBTQ+ wedding photographers creating documentary-meets-editorial wedding photography on digital and film, with companion Super 8mm films. A 9:30 a.m. appointment at Chicago City Hall turned into nearly two hours of waiting, making it feel all the more fitting when these two exchanged vows at exactly 11:11 a.m.. Since their wedding date was 7/11, we celebrated with Slurpees from 7-Eleven before wandering downtown for candid portraits that felt true to the day — playful, unhurried, and entirely them. The celebration ended with an intimate candlelit dinner in the Red Room at Tortoise Supper Club, proving that the most memorable weddings aren't defined by tradition, but by the thoughtful, personal moments that make them unmistakably your own.
