Storyteller Co is a wife-and-wife team of queer, LGBTQ+ wedding photographers creating documentary-meets-editorial wedding photography on digital and film, with companion Super 8mm films. Before heading to The Crane Wives at First Avenue together, Bride to be L brought their partner D to the hottest spot for dreamy views in Minneapolis - "the Rock", overlooking the Mississippi River and Stone Arch Bridge, where the short trek ended in a surprise proposal — they said yes!!!
We wandered the historic cobblestone streets over to Aster Cafe (where they'll be getting married!), and snapped some portraits under the lights of the Main Cinema, followed by more portraits wandering the gorgeous walking paths before they headed to dinner and over to First Ave for a most perfect night of live music and newly-engaged celebrating.
And fun fact, that concert was a truly full-circle way to end the day because the Crane Wives were the band they first went to see together back when they were still “just friends,” long before either of them knew quite where this was alllll headed.
Spoiler: it's a head-over-heels, ear-to-ear-smiles, BEAMING kind of love story.
