- Super 8/16mm Film: Super 8 and 16mm film are analog formats known for their distinctive, nostalgic look, and archival capabilities. They offer rich colors, grainy texture, and a vintage aesthetic that our couples find truly helpful to elevate the emotion of their wedding celebrations with a timeless sense of romantic nostalgia.
- Digital Videography: In addition to shooting on film, the duo also offers collections including the addition of high-quality digital footage. Digital captures allow the benefit of immediate gratification and the ability to capture audio alongside video.
- Integration: In their hybrid wedding films the duo captures all moments of the wedding day on a combination of analog and digital mediums, relying on a documentary style of capture and an intuitive eye for sentiment - capturing moments in a way that evokes memories of classic home movies, elevated with the significance and romantic nature of a wedding celebration. After the wedding events, the analog film is sent to the duo's preferred lab for processing, developing, and scanning. The digital film scans and digital footage is then combined during the editing process. All collections include an analog only cut, alongside any digital deliverables, film scans & archival negatives.
- Editing and Post-Production: During editing, the footage is carefully selected and arranged to tell the story of the wedding day. All film scans and digital footage go through our carefully developed and hand-applied color correction process.

Storyteller Co uses primarily Super 8mm & 16mm analog cine-film to capture their wedding films, placing no limit on the amount of film used to capture the day's events. Digital footage is captured alongside analog throughout the day's events and selectively interwoven between the analog mediums in the post-production process to create the duo's unique hybrid-medium wedding highlight films. All collections include this hybrid highlight, delivered alongside a slightly longer 100% analog film highlight. Analog film deliverables also include all cine-film scans (2k - 4k resolution digital scans of your cine-film captures) professionally color graded in-house, select Polaroid prints/scans, and archival film negatives (delivered with processed film re-spooled on the reel it was shot on, along with tips for safe storage).
